Maximizing freedom and justice.

What We Do

Give Freedom. Do Justice.

Mission

The mission of Countervail Group is to maximize freedom and justice for women and children who are victims of sexual violience, commerical sexual exploitation, and human trafficking.

Vision

To be an influencial and effective force securing freedom in its fullness and ensuring justice is upheld in meaningful measure through the projects we undertake.

Purpose

To achieve our mission of maximizing freedom and justice for women and children, we seek to address what is preventing and hindering the realities of freedom and justice for those affected by sexual violence, commercial sexual exploitation, and human trafficking.

Distinctive in its strategy, Countervail Group seeks to advance its mission by establishing and exercising a position of influence to effectively rescue and defend victims of sexual violence, restrain the hand of evil, and neutralize the relentless threats of violence.  Countervail Group will use both conventional methods and develop innovative strategies to serve as an enduring force defending the vulnerable.

An essential component in securing freedom and justice is financial resources. One of the areas Countervail Group will lead is by raising the necessary finances for initiatives and programs that responsibly and effectively combat sexual violence and human trafficking, including traditional rescue operations and dynamic alternatives.

Second, Countervail Group will aim to identify and partner with existing organizations with high standards of operational integrity working to rescue and provide direct services, including rehabilitation, restoration, and re-entry, to victims of sexual violence.  By equipping these organizations financially, Countervail Group will advance the organization’s ultimate goals and enhance the impact of organizations on the ground.

Additionally, through collaborative efforts and strategic partnerships, Countervail Group will ultimately engage in direct casework on behalf of individual victims of sexual violence and human trafficking.

Countervail Group will leverage meaningful alliances with highly skilled and influential individuals and organizations involved in this work to mutually enhance each organization’s strengths.

Finally, Countervail Group will chart the most practical avenues necessary to weaken and dismantle the structural foundations that enable sexual violence and sexual exploitation, so that we can invest in long term, viable solutions to these problems in an effort to liberate victims and bring perpetrators to justice.
